Really nice place to stay. Close to big mall, a casino and lot of places to eat. Less than 15 minutes from BWI airport. They have shuttle service to and from the airport. They also have complementary breakfast.
Clean, friendly staff upon check in, quiet area, near the highway, comfortable bed/comfy pillows and I loved the shower. Id stay here again if Im ever in the area! Only thing is NO microwave in rooms but its not a deal breaker.
The hotel overall is very nice. It's got a nice design to it.the beds are pretty comfortable. There were only a few things I didn't like about it. The shower pressure is awful. It's hard to wash my hair in it because it's thick and curly. Also we went in the pool area but it was so hot and stuffy in there you couldn't breathe.it seemed like there was no ventilation. It also smelled really weird. I would stay here again though. Everything else was good
I loved the ambience of the hotel and the room. It's conveniently located near BWI airport, the mall, restaurants.. and the shuttle is free! The lady that checked me in was really nice, can't remember her name. Housekeeping cleaned my room every day! However, there was 1 young lady that had an attitude my 3rd day there, when requesting a shuttle, as if I inconvenienced her life. When I called for a pick up she transferred me directly to the shuttle drivers phone, which must not be protocol, because he asked how I got his number. There is no microwave in the rooms, but 1 in the lobby. The wifi was kind of sketchy, otherwise I enjoyed my stay.
The rooms are pretty cool and the beds are A+++ extra comfy. Blackout shades are definitely appreciated, and dispenser soap. I really, really wanted to love this hotel. The downside is the service was ... not great. Ive been to Super 8s and Comfort Inns where the people at the desk were friendlier and more helpful. I dont really expect much from a hotel, but they were so brusque that even I was a little surprised. I went to the bar and the obviously exhausted lady next to me got turned away from food at literally exactly 10:00PM. At least the bartender had a book of carry out menus. Id stay there again in a pinch, but Im going to try out some other Arundel hotels.
