So many canadian tire stores offer poor customer service, but thats not true in hanover. Quick and friendly. I bought quite a bit of paint and couldnt be happier with the quality of product.
Took my car in to get looked at for heating & cooling issues. Was helped by Ken (great guy to deal with!). They completed a heating & cooling inspection and found that I needed a blower motor resistor and ordered the part for me. No problem with that. Took the car back to have the part installed once we received the call that it was in. Took the car in, they apparently fixed it, I paid the money for the part and labour, went outside to the car and it didn't work. Since it was the long weekend I called back on Tuesday morning. The manager Dave answered the phone and when I told him my A/C was not working he says "I think this is the car where the guy told us what part needed to be ordered and how to do our job"...seriously!? No, they did the test, they found the problem, they ordered the part, they "fixed it". To be told by a so called manager that it was basically our "fault" is a joke! Not impressed by the management at this location whatsoever. Would I recommend any of our friends or family to attend the service centre here...NO!!
wanted to buy a fishing net from here and challenged them on price matching policy from other business called sail in cambridge and Vaughn.they did everything possible not to honor it over 15$ difference.1st told no they are internet company I proved to them it was an actually business.then they told me it was to far away they only match local companies when it states in their policy within 200 klms.both stores are less than 200 km away.so I left the 100$ dollar net and 200$ worth of fish gear on counter and refuse to buy there now and I spend money here all the time.phoned owen sound store and they said they will price match it.
Nice store, especially now after a recent major expansion. The one thing that disappoints is that on sale items are frequently sold out the day the flyer comes out. Yes, you can get a rain checks on many things, but that requires a second trip to the store. Many items are marked no rain checks, so you are out of luck. I have never had this problem at the Owen Sound store.
You can find exactly what you're looking for here. Great selection. However they never answer the phone and getting help from an employee on the floor is near impossible.
